Dan Pastorini is a retired NFL quarterback who spent 13 years in the league with four different teams. Prior to his time in the NFL, Pastorini played his college football at Santa Clara University, playing well enough to be drafted in the first round of the 1971 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. In nine seasons with Houston, Pastorini was a one time Pro Bowler and emerged as one of the top QBs in the league. In 1980, the Oilers traded Pastorini to the Oakland Raiders, where he would spend one season, winning his first and only Super Bowl at Super Bowl XV. Following a season with the Los Angeles Rams and two with the Philadelphia Eagles, Pastorini retired from football, turning his focus to professional drag racing. While competing in the NHRA, Pastorini won several competitions in the Top Fuel category, only adding to his legend.
